Some pictures of the Neomega cockpit installed on the
first Bucc.
|
The front cockpit sills needed to be filled and levelled.

|
|
The instrumentation was scratched on with a pin (I used a
white resin instrument panel).
|
This is the second pit almost finished and ready to go
in.

The view from above of the secomd pit.

The first Bucc as of 12/11/00. This was my first model
mainly glued with superglue and boy it worked great. If they
DNA test this baby they will definately know who put her
together (my skin on my fingrs is just now starting to grow
back 2 weeks later!)

The bottom of the Bucc. The wheel well inserts come from
the Eduard set.
|
The top of the Bucc. I have cut the flap sections out
ready for the resin replacements.

|
The airbrakes are from Airwaves and are awaiting drilling
out. I will be using brass tubing for the BBQ bits.
|
The compressor faces come from the Acdemy Mig 29 and just
fit when the intakes are shortened.

I eventually filled my wing tanks with resin to give it
rigidity. I may even cast these as I had much cursing
getting these right.

How did this get in here? (One of the reasons I am not
further along with my Bucc! )Still have to paint the bang
seat and the u/c. I melted the canopy in the oven while
drying the paint. DO NOT FEAR for I have a spare!!!! :o).
BTW it is a South Arfican MB326
